With another successful year at the Global Freight Group wrapping up, we’re making resolutions for the coming year. It’s a great opportunity to look back on the 29th year of the Global Freight Group and review all the things that have changed.  

Round up of the year

• #GFGConference2023 was a very successful event in Barcelona, and we’re thrilled to have seen so many of our members attend. 
• Appointed a new strategic marketing partner, who will be helping us shape member communications, our future Annual Conference, brand direction, and so much more. 
• We have had 4 new members joining the Global Freight Group and we’re pleased to have them onboard. 
• Our members have overcome difficult supply chain times and continued with significant interactive trade. 

Our Annual Conference in Barcelona was a cornerstone in our global community, and it was great to see so many of our members, all in the same place at the same time. The family feel, energy, and innovative ideas throughout the event has truly set the tone of innovation and future collaboration for the year ahead. View the photo gallery here. 

It was also a great opportunity to highlight the incredible work that our members do an award for with Magnus Ejdervall from C Land Logistics with awarded with The President’s Award 2023. 

In our journey in to make Global Freight Group communications better for our members, and our external audiences, we have appointed a new strategic marketing partner, Carswell Gould. Our next Annual Conference will be held in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, this will be the Global Freight Group’s 30th anniversary and we’re excited about what Todd and the team have in store for us when we meet in his hometown.  

It’s always incredible to see new members from countries joining us and that our membership is increasing. We’d like to have a very special mention to our newest members… Eastrong Logistics in Malaysia, Freight Distribution International in France, Malenstein Global Logistics in the Netherlands, and Lojistik Hizmetleri Anonim Şirketi in Turkey. With changes to the Global Freight Group board, it’s great to have new members all bringing in new ideas and driving a positive change in the membership. 

In the face of many supply chain challenges, our membership has tackled difficult times and continued in trading. Our members have truly demonstrated remarkable resilience and have adapted to challenges as they have come along. It’s inspiring to see the collaborative spirit that shines through at the Global Freight Group, fostering a supportive environment for all businesses in uncertain times.
