LogiWare, Inc., heaquarted in Alpharetta, Georgia, is a provider of ocean and air logistics software and outsourcing services. LogiWare offers a full-line of logistics products for ocean and air forwarders, NVOCC's, Consolidators, Agents, Brokers, and Traders. The software handles workflow automation for imports and exports and is completely internet based, meaning it can be accessed from a web browser and internet connection anywhere in the world. LogiWare is built using Java open source technology and can run on any hardware, operating system, and database platform.
In addition, LogiWare offers outsourcing services to help improve the business processes of its clients:
- Programming services
- Data Entry of Bill of Ladings and other documents
- Rate Management services (LogiWare can manage your rates and contract details)
- Hosting services (LogiWare will run the servers, perform backups, and other data center functions for you)
LogiWare was founded in 2006 by Gokulnath Venkataraman and Alan Palmore, both having worked in the shipping industry with P&O Nedlloyd, and each with over 20 years of software development experience in large S&P 500 companies as well as venture-backed start-ups.
LogiWare owns and operates technical facilities with approximately 45 people in Alpharetta, Georgia, Bangalore, India, and Hyderabad, India.

Logiware have been working hard on their latest product, due for release in September in 2008. Alan Palmore of Logiware stated that he envisaged their new product launch would coincide with the GFG's Buenos Aires conference in September 2008 and he looked forward to presenting it to the GFG members. It is with regret that they have had to cancel their attendance at the meeting, due to a large new contract requiring their presence.
