We hereby notify you that, according to the notice received from the National Customs Authority on January 15, 2018, all the Shipping Documents (BL’s), now of the shipments entering Panama, must contain the following information:

 

  • Mention of the means of transport and name of the vehicle in case of maritime traffic
  • Name, business name or denomination of the shipper, the carrier and the consignee if applicable
  • Port of loading and unloading
  • Quantity class of packages
  • Generic description of its content
  • Gross weight in kilograms
  • Value of the contracted freight and other charges
  • Identification number of the transport document that allows its individualization
  • Place and date of issue of the document.
