The GFG's Nine New Aspirants...

10 July 2012

The GFG is proud to have added 9 new members in the last year. Although the network seeks to have a member in every country, it is in no rush to accept just any company.

Given that the GFG is one of the first, and still very few, networks to offer its members exclusivity for their territory, choosing exactly the right company has to be done methodically and carefully. With only one membership position to offer per country, the GFG must be sure it has the right candidate.

Therefore, it is with pride that the GFG has successfully found so many suitable new members since July 2011. The GFG may not be the biggest or best known network but it is probably one of the most selective, choosing to support the 'quality over quantity' ethos. It would be too easy to simply add more members but finding the right one that fits with the GFG, its members and ethics, is more of a challenge.

Newcomers to the GFG, and currently enrolled as Aspirant Members, are:

The GFG's Aspirant Members Country
MAP Cargo S.A.S. Colombia
Scan Global (Finland) OY Finland
Logistics Movers Ghana
CAP Cargo SAC Peru
C Land Logistics Sweden
Polar International Forwarding Co., Ltd Taiwan
Meachers Global Logistics United Kingdom
Posey International Inc. U.S.A. (Texas)
Transworld Transportation Co., Ltd Vietnam

We continue to work hard to find even more quality members.

With our next conference in Sao Paulo, Brazil in October 2012, the current focus is on getting new members in all the countries of South and Central America which are as yet unrepresented. It would be excellent to have a strong new contingent of members joining us at the conference.

Currently, the applications of prospective members in Chile and Panama are being processed, so we hope to increase our Aspirant list to eleven very soon.

In the last three weeks, introductory letters have been sent out to over 60 companies in Bolivia, Ecuador and Venezuela. Those who show interest will then undergo our stringent selection process, as we try to find just one suitable company for each of the three countries.

However, as proven with our extensive UK search, sometimes we don't find the right member on our first round and have to start again. The GFG is nothing if not selective.

The search continues...
