Jetivia wins YSL contract ...and has to move... GFG's Swiss member, Jetivia Ltd, have made their mark in the world of style, as well as freight, by winning the Yves St Laurent contract... GFG Secretary Rachel Marchant heard from Jetivia's Chairman, Urs Brunschweiler, about their good news and the resulting changes. Sadly no Jetivia representatives were available to attend the recent Seattle conference in late August 2004 as the Jetivia team were completely absorbed in their latest achievement, the surprise awarding of a prestigious contract from Yves St Laurent. Jetivia Ltd have been in discussions with Yves St Laurent for a year and the project was due to start on 1st July 2004. Therefore, when that date passed with no news, Jetivia could only presume that they were not to be part of the plan. However, to their surprise they won the large outsourcing contract and prepared to move the Jetivia offices into the famous Yves St Laurent premises in Plan-les-Ouates, Geneva. The expected moving in date was between August 15th and September 1st, exactly over the time of the GFG's Seattle conference. As Urs commented "there will obviously be a huge organization to be set up". The GFG wishes Jetivia well for their new contract.
